Spring School Training Platform - coming in Q3'26

Spring Semiconductor will launch Malaysia’s first-ever container-based IC design hands-on training platform, designed for students, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. The platform delivers an industry-grade environment without the usual complexity of setup, using container technology to provide seamless access to IC design tools—from digital logic and verification to advanced SoC prototyping—all available online, anytime and anywhere.

By combining guided labs, project-based learning, and exposure to tools used by leading semiconductor companies, Spring Semiconductor bridges the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world design practice. Whether you are building skills for industry, preparing for your first chip, or simply curious about IC design, this platform empowers you to learn and innovate with confidence.

HRDC Claimable: 5-Day FPGA Prototyping Platform Manager Program

Build real systems. Claim real value.

This HRDC Claimable 5-Day FPGA Prototyping Platform Manager Program is designed for engineers and technical leaders ready to take control of full FPGA prototyping environments. Using a live ARM-based FPGA system (SpringBlade VU13P), participants will remotely access, configure, and deploy complete solutions on real hardware.

Over five intensive days, you will complete two hands-on AI projects:
• AI LLM Acceleration – deploy and optimize large language model workloads on FPGA
• AI Vision Pipeline – build and manage a real-time vision processing system

The focus is on platform mastery—environment setup, toolflow control, IP integration, system validation, and performance tuning. This is where engineers become platform owners.

Program Details
• Duration: 5 Days (Hands-On, Remote Access)
• Platform: ARM-based FPGA Prototyping System (SpringBlade VU13P)
• Format: Guided labs + real system deployment
• Course Fee: RM4999 per pax (HRDC Claimable)
• Optional Certification: RM5999 – FPGA Prototyping Platform Manager (IPMA UK) (also claimable, subject to approval)

Who Should Attend
• FPGA / ASIC Engineers
• Embedded & Systems Developers
• AI Hardware & Acceleration Engineers
• Technical Managers leading prototyping teams

HRDC Claim Benefits
• Structured, industry-relevant upskilling program
• Immediate application to real-world AI and hardware projects
• Supports workforce readiness in AI and semiconductor domains

RHEL for Internal Development

“At Spring Semiconductor, our development infrastructure is built on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, providing a stable, secure, and enterprise-grade environment for the design, validation, and deployment of advanced workflows. This includes SpringSchool training programs, high-performance AI models, security applications, and FPGA/embedded system verification pipelines.

By leveraging RHEL’s long-term support, hardened kernel, and extensive package ecosystem, our teams implement reproducible build systems, containerized workflows, and CI/CD automation that integrate cross-compilation toolchains, AI-assisted verification, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations. Workflows developed and validated on RHEL are distributed via open Linux container platforms, enabling partners and universities to execute them on freely available Linux distributions while ensuring fidelity, performance, and security across heterogeneous computing environments.”
